She has also attended workshops with Ambra Vallo, Lisa BennerCarla began
practicing Ashtanga in 2010 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2011, she became
an assistant and later one of the main teachers at that shala, where she
taught for the next three years. In 2015, she traveled to India to study
with MV Chidananda for three months, immersing herself in the Ashtanga yoga
sequence, pranayama, and philosophy classes.
After returning from India, her drive to learn and explore further took her
to Rome, where she taught guided Ashtanga classes in English as well as
Mysore-style classes for four years. There she began studying with Riccardo
Gherardi, one of the most influential teachers she has had. With him, she
went deeper into workshops on asanas, movement, bandhas, and the energetic
aspects of practice.

A couple of years later, in 2021, she began a Teacher Training Course
(TTC) with Ashtanga Buenos Aires, a school well known for its anatomical
and biomechanical teachings, the use of props and modifications, and guided
meditations.

In 2022, she moved to Barcelona, where she finally started practicing at
Viveka under the guidance of Aleix Griñó. The following year, in 2023, she
completed an intensive Hatha Yoga course with Aleix Griñó and Sebastian
Arbondo., Tim Feldmann, and Santina, with the intention of exploring new
perspectives on the practice.

Throughout these years, her understanding of how to practice and teach has
evolved. She now recognizes that to support a deeper understanding and
exploration of each student’s capabilities, we need to think beyond rigid
frameworks. For her, practice is not a fixed method but a living, evolving
tool to consciously reconnect with life.
